What does Advent mean? Advent means “Coming”. It is the season of “waiting of hope”. Advent and Christmas focus on the past-the coming of Jesus as an infant born into poverty in Bethlehem, and the future—the coming of Christ in glory to Judge the living and the dead on the last day. Advent this year comes at a time of anxiety and hope. Many of us are struggling and are afraid for our future. It's not easy to hope when times are bad. Mary, as she waited for the birth of her child into an uncertain world, knew how to live with hope—to believe the promises of God. So Advent is a time when I wait, with Mary, for the birth of new life into a world of a lot demands and hope.
And hope and hope for my only last wish for this Christmas. I don't know that my wish will be granted or not though it is simple and little.I continue to cherish my hope.
Come, Lord Jesus!!!... Come and bless me with your peace so that this Christmas may be a time of silence and deepening myself in depth of life reflecting.
Come, Lord Jesus!!!... Though life is so difficult but with your encouragement, I believe I can accept and embrace my cross peacefully.
